Is It Okay if I Change My Mind?

On my last blog I was all hepped-up on Curtis Sittenfeld as my favorite author. She had written 2 books I truly loved-“Rodham” and “American Wife”. I said I was going to read more of her stuff, so I read “Prep” #112 and “Eligible” #113 on my Book List. I was really disappointed and sadly only gave them 3 Stars each! They really weren’t bad but just not the caliber of the others. I tried to figure out what was different and I guess you’ll have to read my reviews, but, let’s face it, they can’t all hit it out of the ballpark for all of us all the time. And we all have our opinions, right? I just finished Lisa Jewell’s newest, “The Family Upstairs” #119-and WOW! was it good. Is she my new favorite author? I think I better not go there!
